BGI’s Two B-Corps

BGI is proud to share that two alumni businesses are now Certified B Corporations.


A&R Solar is a team of smart, environmentally conscious specialists who design and install solar energy systems for homeowners, businesses, and government agencies.  The company was founded in 2007 as an employee owned venture in Seattle, Washington.  As one of the first contractors dedicated to solar installations in Washington State, A&R Solar empowers its customers by helping them take their energy futures into their own hands while minimizing their carbon footprints. BGI Alumni, David Kozin, is the director of A&R Solar.

TriLibrium is a Portland, Oregon based CPA firm, founded in 2008 by BGI Alumni Brian Setzler and André Furin, which breaks the mold of standard Certified Public Accounting firms. TriLibrium is a synthesis of triple bottom line and equilibrium. “Triple bottom line” captures their commitment to the mutually supportive values—people, planet, profit—that distinguish a sustainable business. “Equilibrium” refers to their commitment to establish balance among the three bottom lines in all that they do for their clients and as a firm.
