The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce is a valuable partner to BGI. In fact, Bainbridge Island was the first chamber of commerce in the United States to formally adopt and endorse The Natural Step. This year, BGI and the Chamber began co-hosting a “Building a Sustainable Economy (BASE)” Lecture Series on the island to lead discussions on sustainability with special sustainable business experts also visiting BGI. The upcoming BASE event on July 13 features Gifford Pinchot III in a discussion about intrapreneurship.
