Ted is an entrepreneur in consumer electronics and renewable energy. He held positions in market development at Palm Inc. and, more recently, WIMM Labs. He founded, led, and then sold a company that focused on software for renewable energy optimization, which was supported by three research grants from the National Science Foundation.

Ted is an elected director of Lower Valley Energy, which serves electricity and natural gas to northwestern Wyoming. He is also an advisor to the Wyoming Small Business Development Center.
