Bio

Mary Kay Chess, Ph.D. brings a wealth of knowledge and practical understanding of organizational change from diverse leadership roles in complex health care systems and medical groups. Dr. Chess consults with healthcare executive boards and CEOs on the impact and opportunities of change nationally and in local communities.  At Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) Mary Kay serves as faculty in the two year required student engagement in Leadership and Personal Development.  This course highlights leadership as a tool for change and agility in a world of complex systems.  She is also core faculty for management and teaches organizational systems, change and high performing teamwork.

Mary Kay lives on Whidbey Island and is active as a board member and CEO of the Northwest Literary Arts Association, a sustainable and nationally recognized MFA program.
