Gifford Pinchot III, Co-Founder and President of the Bainbridge Graduate Institute, is the leading expert on intrapreneurship. He coined the word which focuses on innovation and creativity in organizations and how to transform ideas into a profitable venture within an organization. He is the author of Intrapreneuring: Why You Don’t Have to Leave the Corporation to Become an Entrepreneur, a book which launched the intrapreneurship movement. He’ll illustrate the lessons of intrapreneurship with stories focused on:

  • How innovation actually happens
  • The role and nature of the intrapreneur
  • How to sell your idea
  • The essential role of the sponsor
  • Creating the climate for sustainable innovation

This event is in partnership with Bainbridge Graduate Institute, Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce, Sustainable Bainbridge and Bainbridge Public Library. This July event is part of the Building a Sustainable Economy (BASE) Bainbridge Lecture Series.
