Seattle Business magazine’s Green Washington Awards program recognizes companies and individuals who hold our planet and its longevity in the highest regard and who are leading the way in sustainability and green business practices. Nominations for 2012 are now open.

Nominations are reviewed by a qualified panel of judges with experience and success in sustainable business, including Bainbridge Graduate Institute Dean John Gardner. The goal is to honor outstanding efforts by companies and institutions to promote sustainability in such areas as agriculture, building, government, academia, health care, manufacturing, nonprofit, retail and services. We encourage everyone to enter their favorite sustainable companies and clients.

Nominations can be entered via Seattle Business magazine’s website. A list of last year’s winners is also available on Seattle Business magazine’s website. The deadline for entries is July 16, 2012.
