Are you ready to build a better world through business? BGI prepares you to create positive change with our unique combination of rigorous business academics and empowering leadership development. The BGI learning community brings together a network of talented and creative people who you can join in developing new business ventures, sharing expertise, and moving our world towards sustainability.
BGI’s admission process is designed to select applicants with strong academic backgrounds, capabilities, work and leadership experience, and personal and professional goals. Prospective students often demonstrate their commitment to BGI during pre-admission communications—addressing BGI’s mission, program, learning community, faculty, intensives, career planning and academic advising. This usually involves in-depth discussions with faculty and administrators, interviews with current students and alumni, campus visits and participation in classes.
Different opinions, backgrounds and life experiences create a dynamic learning community. BGI is committed to diversity of (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, nation of origin, socio-economic status, sexual orientation and physical ability.
Our students come prepared for the demanding MBA and Certificate programs that will provide them with the knowledge, competencies, relationships and leadership development to succeed. Our objective is to admit students who will contribute to our learning community and to the worldwide network of business leaders.
Evaluation for admission is based on verbal and written communication skills, reasoning and analytical ability, leadership potential, intellectual ability, interest in sustainability and fit with BGI’s mission and learning pedagogy—as demonstrated through the admissions process, application and interview. At least 2 years of work experience is recommended. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or higher before applying for admission to BGI’s MBA and Certificate Programs.
